This website is currently being updated to comply with Italian and European accessibility regulations, in accordance with Law 4/2004 (the so-called “Stanca Law”) and Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022, which transposed Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on the accessibility requirements for products and services.
Compliance status
At present, the website is in the process of being adapted to meet the accessibility requirements set out by current legislation.
We are working to improve the accessibility of content and key functionalities, with the aim of ensuring more inclusive navigation for all users, including people with disabilities.
Inaccessible content
The content listed below is inaccessible for the following reasons relating to non-compliance with Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004:
C.9.1.1 – Non-text Content: not all images, icons, logos and graphics on the website have meaningful text alternatives, making it difficult for users of assistive technologies to access the content.
C.9.1.4.3 – Contrast (Minimum): in several sections of the site, the contrast between the foreground colour and the background colour does not meet the minimum required ratio, compromising the readability of the text content.
C.9.2.2 – Captions (Prerecorded): Prerecorded videos do not have accurate captions, limiting access to information for users with hearing impairments.
C.9.2.3 – Audio Description: Complex videos are not accompanied by audio descriptions, preventing blind or partially sighted users from fully understanding the audiovisual content.
C.9.2.4.4 – Link Purpose (In Context): Some links do not have a name or discernible text, making it difficult for users of assistive technologies to understand their function or destination.
C.9.3.3.2 – Labels or Instructions: Some form input elements are not associated with appropriate labels or instructions, making it difficult for users of assistive technologies to complete the form.
C.9.4.1.1 – Parsing: HTML markup errors may compromise the correct interpretation of content by assistive technologies.
C.9.4.1.2 – Name, Role, Value: some interactive elements do not correctly expose their name, role or value to screen readers, limiting their usability.
Marin G&C is committed to improving the accessibility of its website through continuous monitoring and the implementation of targeted technical measures. However, this monitoring does not rule out the possible presence of further non-compliant elements in addition to those already indicated.
Support tools
A widget has been integrated that allows users to customize the interface according to their needs (e.g. contrast, text size, spacing, etc.). This tool does not modify the website’s source code, but facilitates its use by the user.
